Business Development Manager – Civil / Structural Background
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary: £Negotiable + Car Allowance + Benefits.

- Our Brand new client provides in-depth bridge surveys, inspections, installation and repairs along with early contractor involvement, for both new constructions and existing infrastructure across the UK and Ireland.
- Through delivery of highly detailed, specialist reports that assess the service life of entire structures or specific bridge components and also offer bespoke in-house design services to meet the unique needs of each project, ensuring optimal solutions for even the most complex challenges.

- Their team has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services, and they are looking for an experienced BDM to contribute to their continued success.
The Role:
- As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for both securing new business and managing existing accounts.
- You will split your time between client visits, office-based work, and establishment/maintenance of relationships.
- The company also has a large database of prospects, helping you quickly develop your client base.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing new business opportunities and securing projects
- Managing and nurturing existing client accounts and new relationships
- Attending client meetings and delivering presentations
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in sales or business development within the Civil or Structural Engineering sector
- Ability to commute to Sheffield
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to contribute to business growth
- Comfortable working autonomously with a results-driven approach
