We’re working with a respected London-based surveying company that’s looking for a skilled Service Coordinator (with a background in Utility Surveying) to join their growing team in Aylesbury.
In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for managing underground utility data within GIS systems — making sure the information project teams rely on is always accurate and up to date. You’ll collaborate closely with construction and excavation teams to keep projects safe, compliant, and running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
Data & Mapping Coordination
- Manage and maintain utility data in GIS
- Review and validate SU record drawings, PAS128A data, and As-Built drawings
- Ensure all utility locations are properly recorded and shared with project teams
Team & Site Support
- Work alongside Utility Managers, subcontractors, and site staff to keep utility records current
- Advise APs, RPs, supervisors, and excavation teams on interpreting service drawings
- Make sure utilities are clearly marked and compliant with regulations and standards
Permit Oversight & Compliance
- Review and authorise Permits to Break Ground, ensuring all information is up to date
- Store permits and records accurately for audits and compliance checks
- Act as the main contact for service providers when resolving PAS128D drawing issues
What You’ll Need
Must-Have Qualifications & Skills
- Level 3 or Level 5 in Utility Surveying
- Solid understanding of PAS128 standards
- Experience coordinating data or projects in the utilities or construction sector
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Working with GIS systems
- Background in engineering, surveying, or construction management
- Experience collaborating with Tier 1 / Tier 2 contractors
