Job Title: Reactive Works Coordinator – Water
Location: Dinton, Salisbury (Office Based with Local Site Visits)
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE) + Company Vehicle

Leggwork are proud to be partnered with a well-established civil engineering and water infrastructure contractor, delivering reactive and planned works across water, wastewater and utilities networks nationwide. They are now seeking a Reactive Works Coordinator / Estimator to take ownership of the day-to-day management of reactive water and civils works, coordinating engineers, plant and suppliers while estimating and delivering fast-turnaround solutions for existing and new clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day reactive water, wastewater and civil engineering works across boreholes, mains, pumping stations and treatment systems
- Act as first point of contact for incoming enquiries.
- Estimate repair works and small projects, producing accurate costings and proposals
- Coordinate staff, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver works safely, on time and within budget
- Oversee health & safety compliance in line with the Health & Safety at Work Act and CDM Regulations
- Liaise with clients, regulators and governing bodies to secure permits, licences and consents
- Monitor project costs, variations and final accounts in conjunction with the finance team
- Support communication with Contracts and Operations teams
- Attend management meetings and contribute to continuous improvement across the department
Ideal Candidate
- Previous supervisory or coordination experience within water, civil engineering or utilities
- Strong understanding of reactive works, scheduling and cost control
- Confident managing teams, suppliers and client relationships
- Sound knowledge of health & safety legislation and site compliance
- Highly organised, calm under pressure and deadline-driven
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to attend site when required
