Location: Wiltshire (Nationwide Travel Required)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000 – £65,000 (DOE) + Benefits
 
Overview

Leggwork are working with a well-established and highly respected contractor specialising in golf course and sports field construction across the UK and Europe. Due to a strong pipeline of projects, they are looking to recruit experienced Golf Course Shapers to join their delivery teams on a permanent basis.
 
This is a hands-on role for skilled operators who take pride in precision earthworks, quality finishes and working closely to architect-led designs. The role offers long-term security, international project exposure and genuine investment in your development.
 
Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and bulldozers to shape golf courses and sports fields
• Carry out earthmoving, drainage and re-vegetation works to design specification
• Work accurately from architect and engineer site plans
• Deliver works safely, compliantly and to high quality standards
• Liaise professionally with colleagues, clients and suppliers on site
• Support the delivery of projects across multiple UK and European locations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Golf Course Shaper specialist role.
• Strong machine operating experience (excavators, bulldozers essential)
• Background in earthworks, drainage and finishing works
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and site plans
• Confident, safety-conscious and professional approach on site
• Full UK (or equivalent) driving licence
• Willingness to travel and work away from home
