RATE OF PAY: Up to £30.00 per hour, CIS, paid weekly (depending on experience)

THE ROLE
Leggwork is a recruitment business and is acting as an employment business for this vacancy. We are recruiting a Carpenter for a construction project at a school in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
The work will mainly involve the installation of fire doors within the school. This is an evening position, making it suitable for a Carpenter looking for additional or out of hours work.
Working Hours:
 
– Standard hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 4:00pm to 9:00pm or 10:00pm
– Overtime: Additional hours may be available depending on project requirements
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be expected to:
– Install fire doors within a school environment
– Complete carpentry works to a high standard
– Carry out adjustments and remedial works where required
– Work safely around an occupied school environment
– Follow site instructions and project specifications
– Maintain a clean and safe working area
 
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you will need:
– Proven experience as a Carpenter
– Experience installing fire doors
– Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Right to work in the UK
– Own tools and PPE
– CSCS card preferred
