THE ROLE

Step into a leading property services and maintenance contractor:

independently owned, growing, and built on a specialist, highly skilled and loyal team. You’ll own a key client contract from end to end: the relationship, the service levels and the engineers who deliver it. It’s a hands-on management role with real autonomy, where your organisation and client care directly shape the service a major account receives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be expected to:

• Manage your allocated client contract day to day, delivering consistently against SLAs and compliance requirements
• Lead and manage a small dedicated team of engineers working on your contract
• Arrange labour, subcontractors and materials for reactive, quoted and planned works, working closely with the helpdesk
• Carry out site surveys of completed and upcoming works, and produce competitive, profitable quotes for new and remedial works
• Create and manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules across multiple sites, keeping paperwork up to date and tasks on time
• Attend client meetings to agree costs and report on job status, handle any complaints, and report to the senior management team
• Take part in the out-of-hours Contracts Manager rota

REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience in the FM or property maintenance sector, with good sector knowledge
• Confident communication and people skills, and the ability to adapt to clients’ requirements
• Experience pricing works and producing professional quotations, with an eye for cost savings
• Strong IT skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
• Good organisation and time management, able to handle a busy workload and tight deadlines
• The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• Right to work in the UK

• Commercial Plumbing and Heating Experience
