  • Supporting the commercial management of projects, including pricing, scope and profitability
  • Identifying opportunities to improve project delivery and operational efficiency
  • Contributing to the continued growth and development of the surveying team

About You

You will ideally have:

  • Experience within Topographical and/or Utility Surveying
  • A strong understanding of the fundamentals of topographical and utility surveys
  • Previous experience in a Project Manager, Survey Manager, Senior Surveyor or similar position
  • Experience with preparing quotations or contributing to project pricing
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • A strong eye for detail and quality
  • Good commercial awareness
  • The ability to understand a survey brief and translate it into a practical scope of works
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and project delivery

Knowledge of PAS 128, utility mapping, GPR, EML or wider geospatial surveying would be advantageous, but the key requirement is a solid surveying foundation combined with the ability to manage projects and clients effectively.
Progression

This is a particularly good opportunity for someone who wants to develop beyond traditional project management.
The successful candidate will become an important part of the management team, taking increasing responsibility for pricing, project delivery, client relationships, quality and the wider operation.
