THE ROLE
LEGGWORK are recruiting a Stone Mason for a heritage construction contractor working in Broadway, Gloucestershire.
This is a long-term opportunity involving hands-on stone masonry, restoration and general masonry works on a heritage project.
Working Hours: 8–9 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Overtime: Opportunities for overtime will become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES You’ll be expected to:
- Carry out general stone masonry works
- Complete stone repairs and restoration
- Work with existing and traditional stonework
- Complete blockwork and general masonry duties where required
- Assist with heritage restoration tasks
- Work from site instructions and drawings
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow all site health and safety procedures
REQUIREMENTS To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Previous experience as a Stone Mason or skilled Mason
- Experience with stonework and general masonry
- Heritage or restoration experience is desirable
- Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Own tools and PPE
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
