THE ROLE Leggwork is a recruitment business and is acting as an employment business for this vacancy. We are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Groundworker / Bricklayer to work across various construction sites in Bristol.

The successful candidate will need to be confident carrying out a combination of groundworks, brickwork and blockwork, supporting site teams across a range of projects.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, offering long-term work for the right candidate.

Working Hours:
Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8–9 hours per day.
Overtime: Overtime may become available as projects progress, including Saturdays.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES You will be expected to:

• Carry out general groundworks
• Complete brick and block laying to a good standard
• Assist with foundations, drainage and associated groundwork duties
• Carry out concrete works and site preparation
• Complete general construction duties as required
• Work across various sites in and around Bristol
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow all site health and safety procedures

REQUIREMENTS To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience in both groundworks and brick/block work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of construction methods and site safety
• CSCS card
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Full PPE
• Own tools preferred
• Right to work in the UK
