We’re recruiting a GPR Processor to join one of the UK’s most established surveying and subsurface mapping businesses. You’ll play a key role in turning raw GPR data into accurate, actionable outputs that support major infrastructure and utility projects across Greater London and surrounding regions.
This position is ideal for someone with 1+ year of direct GPR processing experience, who’s confident using GRED and ready to develop their expertise within a high-performing technical team.
As part of a busy subsurface engineering function, you’ll focus on post-processing and interpreting Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) data, ensuring accuracy, consistency and technical quality across multiple live projects. You’ll collaborate closely with the internal survey teams, project managers and CAD technicians to ensure smooth data flow and dependable deliverables for clients operating across high-value infrastructure schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and interpret raw Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) data using GRED software
- Post-process geophysical survey data from field teams
- Produce clear, accurate reports on survey findings and recommendations
- Support CAD data processing where required
- Manage allocated geophysical work packages and maintain progress updates
- Provide schedule and status reports to the Project Manager
- Identify and resolve data issues, ensuring deadlines and quality benchmarks are met
- Ensure all project information is accurately recorded in internal systems
- Contribute to improvements in workflows, methods and technical standards
- Collaborate with survey, engineering, IT and support teams when required
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience processing GPR data
- Strong capability using GRED or equivalent GPR processing software
- Understanding of GPR survey design and field data acquisition principles
- Confident in data interpretation and report writing
- Background in surveying, utilities, geomatics, civil engineering or similar
- Excellent communication skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Full right to work in the UK
