GENERAL LABOURER

RATE OF PAY: £17.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
PAY TYPE: CIS
JOB TYPE: Temporary
DURATION: Up to 6 Months

THE ROLE
LEGGWORK are looking for a General Labourer to join a heritage restoration project in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and have previous experience working on construction sites. The project is currently in the rip-out stage, so your main duties will involve assisting with demolition, clearing materials, and supporting trades on site. There will also be opportunities to assist with other aspects of the project as it progresses.
Working Hours: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Overtime: Opportunities for overtime may become available as the project progresses.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll be expected to:

• Carry out general labouring duties across the site
• Assist with rip-out and demolition works
• Move materials and keep the site clean and organised
• Support trades and site management as required
• Follow site health and safety procedures at all times
• Carry out manual handling tasks
• Work independently and as part of the site team

REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Previous construction labouring experience
• Heritage or restoration project experience preferred
• Own transport preferred due to site location
• CSCS Card is beneficial but not essential
• Full PPE
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
