SALARY: £45,000 to £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)

INDUSTRY: Construction – Specialist Contractors (Drylining & SFS)

We are recruiting an Estimator for an independently owned specialist contractor, backed by a large group and recognised for its drylining and SFS work, in Greater Manchester. The work is mainly pricing supply and install packages, from a few hundred thousand pounds to multi-million pound projects, for the group’s own internal client and for external Tier 1 contractor and developer clients nationwide. The salary range is wide to reflect different levels of experience, and the business is open to estimators from a range of related trade backgrounds.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare accurate estimates and tenders for supply and install packages
• Price packages from a few hundred thousand pounds to multi-million pounds
• Take off quantities from drawings and specifications
• Obtain and assess supplier and sub-contractor quotations
• Prepare tender submissions for internal, Tier 1 and developer clients
• Liaise with the commercial and operations teams on handover of secured work

REQUIREMENTS

• Estimating experience with a specialist contractor in drylining, SFS, LGSF, partitions, framing, panelised systems, glazing, facades, cladding or building envelope
• Experience pricing supply and install contracts
• Right to work in the UK

WHAT YOU GET
