START DATE: Mid November 

LOCATION: North Somerset
 
RATE OF PAY: £400 -£450 per day, CIS, paid weekly

JOB TYPE: Temporary

DURATION:  18 months

THE ROLE

Leggwork is a recruitment business and is acting as an employment business for this vacancy. We are recruiting a Site Agent for a civil engineering project in the North Somerset region. We are looking for experienced site agents with a highways infrastructure and civil engineering background. The project involves a broad range of civil engineering and highways aspects, so proven experience on similar projects is necessary.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be expected to:

• Support programming and produce programmes independently.
• Prepare method statements from site.
• Manage subcontractors and directly employed staff
• Support the site management team with documentation, compliance, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, RAMS, permits, site inspections and safe systems of work.
• Manage road reconstruction, drainage, kerbing, resurfacing, earthworks and associated civils.

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you will need:

● Proven experience as a site agent
● SMSTS
● First Aid
● Right to work in the UK
● CSCS
● Full UK driving licence
