GROUNDWORKER

THE ROLE

Leggwork is a recruitment business and is acting as an employment business for this vacancy. We are recruiting a Groundworker to work on a flood defence project in South Devon. The role will involve a range of groundwork and civil engineering duties, including kerbing, concrete works, drilling, creating and raising concrete slabs, and snagging. The project is expected to run until July.
Working Hours:
● Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm
● 9.5 hours paid per day

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be expected to:
● Carry out general groundwork duties on a flood defence project
● Install and work with kerbs
● Assist with raising existing concrete slabs and creating new concrete slabs
● Carry out drilling and associated construction works
● Complete snagging and finishing works
● Work safely around underground and existing services

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you will need:
● Proven experience as a Groundworker
● A valid driving licence
● Relevant experience working on civil engineering or construction projects
● Right to work in the UK

Desirable:
● Cat and Genny experience, as the work will be carried out around existing services

WHAT YOU GET
