What sets Leggwork apart?
With every new job, we put the people first. Working with candidates , employers, and the communities around them, we make sure that everybody finds the best possible outcome. Whether it’s a last minute contract or a lifetime career, we promise to never cut corners or compromise.
Why Leggwork
Construction contractors choose LEGGWORK because we go beyond traditional recruitment to ensure a fully compliant, competent, and ready-to-work workforce. All operatives we supply are rigorously vetted, fully accredited, and supported with the certifications and safety training required on modern construction sites, including CSCS, CPCS, NPORS, NRSWA, Working at Height, and Safety Critical Medical qualifications. We provide face-fit testing and PPE where needed, while our dedicated account managers proactively manage recruitment requests and maintain ongoing compliance monitoring, giving contractors peace of mind and reducing operational risk.
At LEGGWORK we also prioritise candidate care and upskilling, ensuring operatives are confident, competent, and motivated from day one. Our long-term commitment to workforce development, combined with accreditations like Constructionline Gold, SSIP, and REC membership, reflects our focus on quality, safety, and professional standards. By partnering with us, contractors gain a reliable, ethical, and forward-thinking recruitment partner that supports project success while helping to raise industry standards across the South-West of the UK and beyond
Local Community
Bristol is one-of-a-kind, but we have our fair share of challenges with homelessness, inequality, and poverty too. So whenever we can, we help charities like Young Bristol and Caring in Bristol tackle these issues and support the people they affect. Whether that’s giving our time and energy, or helping with fundraising efforts, we will do what we can.
In 2025, we generated £4,996 in social value, measured through the TOMs framework, through a combination of charitable donations, fundraising, and team volunteering. This included £3,280 in direct donations, £1,155 raised through employee-led fundraising initiatives, and 32 hours of volunteering with local organisations such as Young Bristol and Caring in Bristol. We also supported causes like War Child and the Lighthouse Charity, contributing time, resources, and awareness to help these organisations make a meaningful difference in the community around us.
Beyond financial support, our team actively engages in initiatives that benefit the local area. In 2025, we ran a coat drive at the Spectrum Building offices, collecting over 30 coats for those in need.
Sustainability Commitment
The world isn’t getting any younger and we all have a responsibility to look after it, which is why we green-test everything we do. We encourage less driving to work, more office reusables, and greater flexibility to make informed choices.
We’ve relocated LEGGWORK to a site more accessible by greener transport options, reducing car travel by 90% across the business. We recycle all of our waste, our office has sensor-activated lighting and climate control, and we are about to start our journey to become a B Corp.
Aside from this, we organised litter-picking events to help keep our local environment clean.
These efforts reflect our commitment to going beyond traditional corporate giving, making real, tangible contributions that support people, communities, and the environment around us.
