Location: Wiltshire & travel across the South-West
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 50 hours per week (core working pattern aligned to project delivery)
Salary: £42,000 – £50,050 (DOE)

Leggwork are delighted to be partnering with a long-standing industry leader with over 50 years of expertise across Surfacing, Civil Engineering and Water Infrastructure.

They are now seeking a qualified and experienced Approved Electrician to join their growing team, supporting the maintenance and installation of critical water systems across the South West.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out hands-on electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding works on site
• Install, rewire and upgrade pump systems, pump sheds and associated infrastructure
• Service and maintain motors, control panels and electrical distribution systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults across water and pump systems
• Travel across the South West delivering maintenance and installation support across multiple sites
• Ensure all work is completed safely, compliantly and to high technical standards

Requirements

• Willingness and ability to work a 50-hour week (Monday–Friday, site-based delivery model)
• Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification (or equivalent)
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• Inspection & Testing qualification (e.g. City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)
• Proven experience with wiring, pump systems and control panels
• Full UK driving licence (company van provided)
