THE ROLE
LEGGWORK are recruiting a CSCS Carpenter for a heritage construction contractor working in Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire. The role involves carrying out high-quality carpentry works on a heritage project, ensuring attention to detail and maintaining the character and standards required for restoration works.
Working Hours: 8-9 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Overtime: Opportunities for overtime will become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll be expected to:

• Carry out first and second fix carpentry works
• Complete restoration and heritage carpentry tasks
• Install, repair, and maintain timber structures and finishes
• Work from drawings, specifications, and site instructions
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
• Work safely alongside other trades on site
• Keep the working area clean and organised
• Follow all site health and safety procedures

REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Valid CSCS Card
• Proven experience as a Carpenter
• Previous heritage or restoration experience is advantageous
• Own tools and PPE
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
