THE ROLE
LEGGWORK are recruiting a Welfare Labourer / CSCS Labourer for a construction project in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. The role involves maintaining welfare facilities on site, ensuring they are kept clean, tidy, and to a high standard, alongside supporting general site operations when required.
The successful candidate must be comfortable carrying out welfare duties, including cleaning welfare areas and toilets, as well as assisting with general labouring tasks around site.
Working Hours: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Overtime: Opportunities for overtime will become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll be expected to:
- Maintain clean and tidy welfare facilities
- Clean welfare areas, including toilets and canteen facilities
- Ensure welfare areas are stocked and presentable
- Carry out general labouring duties when required
- Assist with moving materials and keeping the site organised
- Follow instructions from site management
- Maintain high standards of health and safety on site
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Valid CSCS Card
- Previous construction labouring experience
- Willingness to carry out welfare cleaning duties, including toilets
- Full PPE
- Reliable and hardworking approach
- Good understanding of site health and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
