THE ROLE
LEGGWORK are recruiting a Heritage Carpenter for a specialist restoration contractor working in Broadway, Worcestershire. The role involves carrying out high-quality carpentry works on a heritage restoration project, preserving and restoring traditional timber features while maintaining exceptional standards of craftsmanship.
Working Hours: 8-9 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Overtime: Opportunities for overtime will become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll be expected to:

• Carry out first and second fix carpentry works
• Undertake heritage restoration and conservation carpentry
• Repair, restore, and install traditional timber features
• Work from drawings and site specifications
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
• Work safely alongside other trades on site
• Keep the work area clean and organised
• Adhere to all site health and safety procedures

REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Valid CSCS Card
• Proven experience as a Carpenter
• Essential: Previous heritage restoration experience
• Own tools and PPE
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
