Salary: £42,000 – £52,000 (DOE) + Company Vehicle & Package 

Overview:
Leggwork are partnering with a long-established and highly respected specialist contractor delivering electrical and water engineering solutions across prestigious golf courses, sports grounds and pumping installations throughout the UK.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Industrial Electrician to join their expanding Electrical and Water Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of industrial electrical projects, installing, commissioning, maintaining and repairing electrical systems associated with pumping installations.

This role would suit an Industrial Electrician, Electrical Installation Engineer or Maintenance Electrician with experience working on industrial electrical systems, pumps, motors and control panels. Working alongside experienced Electrical and Water Engineers, you’ll enjoy a technically varied role with genuine opportunities for training, development and long-term career progression within a business that continually invests in its people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test and commission industrial electrical installations
• Install, fault-find, maintain and repair pumps, motors and pumping systems
• Wire, commission and troubleshoot electrical control panels
• Install, program and diagnose Variable Speed Drives (VSDs)
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Work collaboratively with the Water Engineering and Pipe Fitting teams
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
• Represent the business professionally when working on customer sites
• Travel across the UK, staying away from home where required

Essential Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 Qualified Electrician
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience with industrial electrical installations, pumps, motors or control panels
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away when required
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and within a team
