LEGGWORK are looking for two handypersons with heritage experience to join a new project in Cirencester.

RATE OF PAY: £20.00 – £22.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

THE ROLE
LEGGWORK are looking for two handypersons with heritage experience to join a new project in Cirencester. Starting ideally on Monday the 20th of March, the ideal candidates will have reliable transport, basic tools and experience on heritage refurbishment projects. The project is currently in the rip-out stage, so this will be your main focus initially, but will look to utilise your skills elsewhere following the completion of this. The usual working pattern is 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of overtime.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll be expected to:
- Carry out general handyperson duties across the site
- Complete rip-out tasks with care and caution
- Complete basic carpentry works, repairs, and installations
- Assist with heritage restoration and conservation works
- Support site management and other trades as required
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
- Work independently and follow project specifications
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Previous experience as a Handyperson or Multi-Trade Operative
- Basic carpentry experience
- Heritage or restoration project experience preferred
- Own tools and transport preferred
- CSCS card is not essential
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
