START DATE: 29th July 2026
LOCATION: Guiting Power, Gloucestershire
RATE OF PAY: £20.00 – £22.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
JOB TYPE: Temporary
DURATION: 29th July – 4th August 2026 (Holiday Cover)

THE ROLE
LEGGWORK are recruiting a Telehandler Operator for a residential construction project in Guiting Power, Gloucestershire. This is a short-term holiday cover role, operating a telehandler and supporting the day-to-day running of the site by safely moving materials and assisting site operations.
Working Hours: 8–9 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Overtime: Opportunities for overtime may be available depending on site requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll be expected to:
- Operate the telehandler safely and efficiently
- Move materials and equipment around site
- Load and unload deliveries
- Assist site management and trades as required
- Carry out daily machine checks
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment
- Adhere to all site health and safety procedures
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification
- Previous experience operating a telehandler on residential construction sites
- Full PPE
- Good understanding of site health and safety
- Reliable and punctual approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
