RATE OF PAY: £525–£600 per night (Depending on experience)
JOB TYPE: Temporary
DURATION: 3 weeks minimum

THE ROLE:
LEGGWORK are recruiting a Site Supervisor / Site Manager for a highways project on the M5 in Exeter.
The successful candidate will hold either a valid SSSTS or SMSTS qualification and have previous experience working on highways, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
This is a 3-week night shift position, making it ideal for an experienced Site Supervisor or Site Manager looking for a short-term contract.
Working Hours: Night shifts – hours TBC
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
You’ll be expected to:
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors on site.
- Manage site logistics and day-to-day site activities.
- Direct and coordinate site labour.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of Health & Safety on site.
- Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
- Issue and check permits to work, risk assessments and other relevant site paperwork.
- Liaise with site management, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure site operations are carried out in line with project requirements.
- Maintain a reliable, professional and positive attitude throughout the project.
REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Previous experience working on highways, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Valid SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
- Valid First Aid ticket.
- Previous experience in a Site Supervisor or Site Manager position.
- A reliable commute to the M5, Exeter.
- 2 recent work references.
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Flexibility and willingness to work night shifts.
