THE ROLE
LEGGWORK are recruiting a Carpenter for a heritage construction project in Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire. The role involves carrying out a range of high-quality carpentry works on a long-term heritage restoration project, requiring attention to detail and a strong understanding of traditional construction methods.
Working Hours: Standard site hours apply.
Overtime: Opportunities for overtime will become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll be expected to:

• Carry out 1st and 2nd fix carpentry works to a high standard
• Work on heritage and restoration elements in line with project specifications
• Repair, replace and install traditional timber components
• Interpret drawings and work independently where required
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment
• Collaborate effectively with site management and other trades

REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter
• Previous heritage carpentry experience is essential
• Strong knowledge of traditional carpentry techniques and materials
• Own tools and transport preferred
• CSCS card is not essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
