THE COMPANY

LEGGWORK are working with an established heritage construction company operating across the Bath area, specialising in high-end restoration, heritage and period property projects.

They are looking for a Site Manager to join the team on a long-term basis, with the company keen to develop the right person and provide genuine progression opportunities through the business.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than simply managing one project and moving on to the next. The company is looking to invest in someone who can grow with them and take on increasing responsibility over time.

THE ROLE
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations across high-end heritage and restoration projects.

You will work closely with the wider project team, trades and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, on programme and with the attention to detail expected on high-end restoration work.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-end restoration or heritage construction, with a trade background being highly desirable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing the day-to-day running of the site
• Coordinating trades, subcontractors and deliveries
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
• Maintaining health & safety standards across site
• Monitoring programme and progress
• Working closely with the Project Manager and wider team
• Managing site labour and resources
• Maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Helping drive projects through to successful completion

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Supervisor
• Strong experience within high-end restoration, heritage or period property
• Trade background highly desirable
• Strong understanding of construction processes and sequencing
• Excellent attention to detail and quality
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Reliable and professional approach
• Looking for a long-term opportunity with progression
