Fleet Coordinator – Surveying/ Geospatial
Location: West Sussex
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £34,000+ (DOE)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Fleet Coordinator to join a professional and growing team specialising in Topographical and Utility Surveys for major UK infrastructure projects.
We’re looking for an organised, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance. Ideally, you’ll have experience working within the construction, surveying, or civil engineering sectors and an understanding of Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day coordination support to the operations and project teams
- Coordinate diaries, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff
- Manage internal and external correspondence, ensuring effective communication across departments
- Maintain accurate office records, databases, and documentation systems
- Support the company’s FORS compliance, ensuring all requirements are up to date and accurately recorded
- Assist with renewal of FORS accreditation, including document collation, evidence gathering, and liaising with assessors
- Track vehicle, driver, and training records in line with FORS standards
- Ensure policies, procedures, and evidence are reviewed and updated as required for ongoing compliance
- Support audits and prepare required documentation for annual accreditation renewals
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth administrative processes
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, well-organised, and efficient working environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Fleet Coordination or a similar support role
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience or knowledge of FORS compliance, transport documentation, or audit preparation (required)
- Previous experience within construction, consultancy, or infrastructure environments (preferred)
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently to deadlines
