SKILLED GROUNDWORKER
 
START DATE: 12th of January 2026

LOCATION: Paington

RATE OF PAY: £20 – £22.50 per hour (Depending on experience)

JOB TYPE: Temporary

DURATION: 18 months

THE ROLE
 
LEGGWORK are recruiting a Skilled Groundworker for a Civils project in Paington. The successful candidate will need a Forward Tipping Dumper and Roller to be considered for this job. Also , experience in general groundwork duties such as laying kerbs, ducting, drainage and edgings is essential. 
 
 
Working Hours:

• 07:30 – 17:00

 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
You’ll be expected to:

• Laying kerbs, edgings and ducting
• Drainage
• Preparing ground for construction
• Other groundworks duties as required
• Reliable, hard working and good attitude

 
REQUIREMENTS
 
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Dumper and roller tickets
• Experience in drainage, kerbs and edgings 
• A reliable commute to work
• 2 recent work references
• A positive ‘can do’ attitude
