SITE SUPERVISOR / SITE MANAGER (Night Work)

RATE OF PAY: £525–£600 per night (Dependent on experience)

THE ROLE

LEGGWORK are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor / Site Manager to join a highways project near Ottery St Mary.
Applicants must hold a current SSSTS or SMSTS qualification and have previous experience within highways, civil engineering or wider infrastructure projects.

This is a 6 week night shift contract, providing a great opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor or Site Manager seeking a short-term position.

Working Hours: Night shifts – hours TBC

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As Site Supervisor / Site Manager, your duties will include:

• Supervising subcontractors and coordinating activities across site.
• Overseeing daily site operations and managing site logistics.
• Organising and directing site labour as required.
• Ensuring Health & Safety standards are consistently maintained.
• Making sure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality.
• Checking and issuing permits, RAMS and other necessary site documentation.
• Communicating effectively with site management, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
• Ensuring all site activities are carried out in accordance with project requirements.
• Maintaining a professional, dependable and proactive approach throughout the contract.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will need:

• Previous experience working on highways, civil engineering or infrastructure schemes.
• A valid SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• A valid First Aid qualification.
• Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor or Site Manager.
• A reliable means of travelling to the A35, Honiton.
• 2 recent work references.
• A positive and proactive ‘can do’ attitude.
• Flexibility and availability to work night shifts.
