I’m working with a collaborative consultancy team operating within a specialist niche of the construction industry. They support a range of hospitality clients, delivering project coordination, project management, and quantity surveying services across fast-paced fit-out projects ranging from £50k to £5m in value.
As their client portfolio continues to grow, they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team and help lead, manage and deliver multiple concurrent projects.
This is a varied and hands-on opportunity to become an established Quantity Surveyor. You will play a key role in delivering hospitality fit-out projects from concept through to completion, ensuring quality, programme and budget expectations are achieved.
- Prepare cost estimates, scopes of work and tender documentation (training can be provided).
- Manage budgets, valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Carry out site measurements, valuations and cashflow forecasting.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and help prevent overspend.
- Support commercial reporting and financial control across multiple live projects.
Your Skills & Experience
- Quantity Surveying / Construction-related degree or qualification preferred, but not essential.
- Previous experience or knowledge within the hospitality or fit-out industry.
- Strong cost management and reporting skills.
- Excellent scheduling, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Hardworking, flexible, and eager to learn new skills.
- Familiarity with JCT contracts
- Construction procurement advantageous, but not essential.
- Strong Excel skills and quantity take-off experience (e.g. Bluebeam).
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical ability.
- Full UK driving licence required, with willingness to travel nationally.
