LEGGWORK are recruiting a Setting Out Engineer for a Civil engineering project, in Bridgend.

START DATE: 13th of July
LOCATION: Bridgend
RATE OF PAY: £350-£375 per day (depending on experience)
JOB TYPE: Temporary
DURATION: 5-6 Weeks

THE ROLE:
LEGGWORK are recruiting a Setting Out Engineer for a Civil engineering project, in Bridgend. The successful candidate will need relevant experience with a degree in Civil Engineering.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll be expected to:
- Reliable, hard working and good attitude
- Carry out accurate setting out for drainage and footings
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Order and arrange delivery of site materials
- Assist with project planning
- Conduct site surveys and maintain survey control points
- Ensure all work is completed to the required levels, dimensions, and tolerances
- Collaborate with site management, subcontractors, and project teams
- Maintain accurate site records and as-built surveys
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- A valid CSCS ticket
- A degree in Civil Engineering
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- A reliable commute to work
- 2 recent work references
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude
