THE ROLE
LEGGWORK are recruiting a General Labourer for a construction contractor working in Stratford-upon-Avon. The role involves supporting trades on site, moving materials, maintaining site cleanliness, and assisting with the day-to-day running of the project. Please note that this role may involve heavy lifting.
Working Hours: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Overtime: Opportunities for overtime will become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll be expected to:
- Carry out general labouring duties around site
- Assist trades with moving materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Support the site team with daily tasks
- Follow instructions from site management
- Carry out manual handling duties, including heavy lifting where required
- Adhere to all site health and safety procedures
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Previous construction or labouring experience preferred
- No CSCS Card required
- Full PPE
- Good level of physical fitness due to manual handling requirements
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
