START DATE: 3rd August
LOCATION: Reading
RATE OF PAY: £23-£30 per hour (depending on experience and tickets)
JOB TYPE: Temporary
DURATION: 6 Months +

THE ROLE:
LEGGWORK are recruiting a 2-3 Man Gang for a civil engineering project, in Reading. The successful gang must have experience in water repair utilities and must have the following tickets :
– Thames water passport (essential)
– EUSR water hygiene
– Dumper
– 360 above and below 10 tonnes
– SSSTS
– Abrasive wheels
– Manual handling
– EUSR Shea water
Working Hours: 10 hours per day, with the opportunity for overtime at a nearby site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll be expected to:.
- Carrying out water utility repairs and maintenance
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining pipelines and treatment plants
- Clearing drainage systems and unblocked pipework
- Preparing grounds for construction and civil engineering projects
- Operated a Forward Tipping Dumper safely and efficiently
- Completing a wide range of general groundwork duties as requires
- Working effectively as part of a team while following health and safety procedures
- Reliable, hard working and good attitude
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Thames water passport (essential)
- EUSR water hygiene
- Dumper
- 360 above and below 10 tonnes
- SSSTS
- Abrasive wheels
- Manual handling
- EUSR Shea water
- Must have experience in water utilities repairs
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
- A reliable commute to work.
- 2 recent work references.
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Right to work in the UK.
