Overview:
Leggwork are working with a long-established and highly respected contractor delivering drainage and civil engineering projects across the South West.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint experienced Groundworkers to join a respected installation team working across drainage, infrastructure and associated civils schemes.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and wants long-term stability within a professional business known for investing heavily in its workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out drainage and civil engineering groundworks to a high standard
- Install underground tanks, drainage systems and pipework
- Complete concreting, kerbing, landscaping and associated civils works
- Operate small plant and tools safely and effectively
- Work collaboratively within site teams across multiple projects
- Maintain strong health & safety standards on site
- Ensure all works are completed efficiently and in line with specifications
Requirements:
- Proven groundworks experience within drainage or civil engineering
- Deep drainage will be required within the role so prior knowledge is ideal
- Experience with pipe laying, concreting, kerbing, and external works
- Familiarity operating small plant machinery
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
