CIVIL SITE FOREMAN

LOCATION: Bath

RATE OF PAY: £375 per day 
 
JOB TYPE: Temporary 

DURATION: Initially 3 Month contract with opportunity for more work

THE ROLE:
 
LEGGWORK are recruiting a Civil Site Foreman for a Civil engineering project in Bath. The successful candidate will need relevant experience in civil engineering and workforce supervision including earthworks, drainage, structures and highways. You need to hold a valid CSCS and SSSTS/ SMSTS qualifications. 

Please note: Only candidates with relevant experience in civil engineering supervision will be considered. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll be expected to:.

• Supervision of subcontractors.
• Deliver and record Daily Activity Briefs/Pre-Job Briefs. End of shift debriefs & Toolbox Talks
• Direction of site labour.
• Completing HSE Inspections
• Issuing and checking permits to work, risk assessment and other paperwork as required.
• Reliable, hard working and good attitude.

 
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Experience working on Civil engineering and infrastructure works.
• CSCS
• SSSTS/ SMSTS
• Computer literate, with a basic understanding of Microsoft word / excel and outlook
• Valid Driving License 
• 2 recent work references.
