THE ROLE
LEGGWORK are recruiting Carpenters for a heritage project in Broadway. The role involves carrying out first-fix carpentry works as part of a restoration project.
Working Hours: 8-hour days
Overtime: Opportunities for overtime will become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll be expected to:
– Carry out first fix carpentry work
– Install structural timber elements including stud walls, joists, and flooring
– Work accurately from drawings and specifications
– Ensure all work meets health and safety standards
– Collaborate effectively with other trades on site
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
– Valid CSCS card
– Proven experience in first fix carpentry
– Own tools and PPE
– Strong attention to detail
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
