Location: North Yorkshire/North-East
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per year (DOE), Company Van & Fuelcard
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time | Monday to Friday

We’re hiring an experienced Utility Surveyor to join a fast-growing engineering company delivering PAS128-compliant utility surveys using EML and GPR technology. You’ll work on complex, high-profile projects across the North and North-East of England, at the cutting edge of geospatial survey technology.
You’ll tackle diverse, challenging environments and develop your skills alongside a team shaping the future of utility surveying in the UK.

Your Mission

• Execute PAS128-compliant utility surveys with pinpoint accuracy using EML and GPR tools.
• Work on key projects across the North/North-East of England, including water infrastructure frameworks, tidal barriers and highway drainage schemes.
• Lead and support multi-disciplinary site teams to deliver accurate, reliable survey results.
• Assist with topographic surveys, laser scanning and monitoring as required.
• Maintain survey equipment to ensure consistent precision.

Your Credentials

• Proven experience in underground utility surveying using GPR and EML (Cat & Genny).
• Strong understanding of PAS128 standards and asset record drawings.
• Ability to process data using AutoCAD, LSS, N4CE or similar 
• Full UK driving licence, CSCS card, and right to work in the UK.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead on-site teams.
• QCF3/QCF5 qualifications and prior utility surveying experience are advantageous but not essential.
