THE ROLE LEGGWORK are recruiting a Bricklayer for a restoration project in Evesham, Worcestershire.
The project involves restoring a building that has suffered fire damage, with the successful candidate carrying out brick and block work as part of the restoration process.
Working Hours: 8–9 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Overtime: Opportunities for overtime may become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES You’ll be expected to:
- Carry out brick and block work
- Complete restoration and repair works
- Rebuild and repair damaged sections of the building
- Work with existing brickwork and match materials where required
- Carry out general masonry duties across the project
- Work alongside other trades and site management
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship
- Keep the site clean and safe
- Follow all health and safety procedures
REQUIREMENTS To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Proven experience as a Bricklayer
- Strong brick and block work experience
- Previous restoration experience preferred
- Experience working with existing or damaged structures beneficial
- Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Own tools and PPE
- CSCS Card
- Reliable and professional approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
