THE ROLE

Leggwork is a recruitment business and is acting as an employment business for this vacancy. We are recruiting a a civils gang for a water infrastructure civil engineering project in South Wales. We are looking for experienced skilled operatives who are confident carrying out drainage, pipe laying and water infrastructure ground works.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be expected to:
● Carry out civil engineering works
● Undertake drainage works
● Ducting
● Plant operation
● Pipe laying
● Kerbing
● Associated concrete works
● Follow site health and safety procedures and instructions
● Maintain a high standard of workmanship throughout the project

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you will need:
● Proven experience as a groundworker on water infrastructure projects
● Ability to work safely around other contractors 
● Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

● CSCS
● SSSTS
● Water tickets (EUSR/SHEA/Water Hygeine)
● Plant tickets
● Health and safety mindset
