THE ROLE Leggwork is a recruitment business and is acting as an employment business for this vacancy. We are recruiting a Handyperson for a long-term construction project in Tidworth, Andover. The successful candidate will be carrying out a variety of general maintenance, repair and finishing duties while supporting the wider site team.

This is a 7-month project, offering a consistent opportunity for the right candidate.

Working Hours:

Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8–9 hours per day.
Overtime: Overtime may become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES You will be expected to:

• Carry out general handyperson and maintenance duties
• Complete repairs, making good and finishing works
• Assist trades on site where required
• Move and handle materials
• Keep the site clean, tidy and organised
• Support the wider site team with general duties
• Follow site health and safety procedures

REQUIREMENTS To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience as a Handyperson or Multi-Skilled Operative
• Previous construction site experience
• Good range of practical skills
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Full PPE
• Good understanding of site health and safety
• Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

• CSCS card
