Overview:
Leggwork is working with a long-established and highly respected contractor delivering drainage and civil engineering projects across the South West.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint experienced Groundworkers to join established installation teams working across drainage, infrastructure, and associated civils schemes. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and wants long-term stability within a professional business known for investing heavily in its workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out drainage and civil engineering groundworks to a high standard
- Install underground tanks, drainage systems, and pipework
- Complete concreting, kerbing, landscaping and associated civils works
- Operate small plant and tools safely and effectively
- Work collaboratively within site teams across multiple projects
- Maintain strong health & safety standards on site
- Ensure all works are completed efficiently and in line with specifications
Requirements:
- Proven groundworks experience within drainage or civil engineering
- Experience with pipe laying, concreting, kerbing, and external works
- Familiarity operating small plant machinery
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
