This is a site-based position on a single project, with an expected duration of 10–12 months, offering a good level of continuity and stability.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the works, working closely with the Site Manager, project engineers, subcontractors and wider delivery team.
The project will involve a significant programme of civil engineering and structural works, including new process units, pipework, chambers and associated wastewater infrastructure.
You’ll be responsible for setting out works, carrying out surveys and measurements, interpreting construction drawings and specifications, maintaining accurate site records and supporting the delivery of works to the required standards.
Scope of Works
The project will involve a range of civil engineering and structural works, including:

What You’ll Be Doing
- Setting out and surveying civil, structural and pipeline works accurately in accordance with drawings, specifications and site requirements
- Providing engineering support to the Site Manager and wider project team throughout construction
- Checking dimensions, levels, line and position of works and ensuring construction is completed to design requirements
- Reviewing construction drawings, specifications and technical information, identifying and raising any discrepancies
- Working closely with subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are delivered correctly and efficiently
- Carrying out quality inspections and maintaining relevant quality records, inspection and test plans and documentation
- Producing and maintaining accurate as-built information and site records
- Assisting with material and quantity checks, measurements and progress reporting
- Supporting the delivery of concrete, structural, pipeline and chamber works
- Monitoring progress and highlighting potential technical issues, risks or delays to the project team
- Supporting the investigation and resolution of technical issues that arise during construction
- Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements
- Maintaining clear communication with site management, designers, subcontractors and suppliers
- Adhering to all relevant company and client policies and procedures
