THE ROLE
LEGGWORK are recruiting a Carpenter for a long-term construction project in Broadway, Gloucestershire.
The successful candidate will be carrying out a range of carpentry duties as part of a high-quality construction and restoration project. Previous experience working on heritage or traditional buildings would be highly beneficial.
This is a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Working Hours
- 8–9 hours per day
- Monday to Friday
Overtime Opportunities for overtime may become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- First and second fix carpentry
- Doors, skirting, architraves and flooring
- Bespoke carpentry and joinery works
- Repairs and restoration
- Working with traditional building materials and methods
- Assisting with general site duties where required
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following site health and safety procedures
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Previous heritage or traditional building experience preferred
- Strong first and second fix carpentry skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CSCS card preferred
- Own tools and PPE
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
