THE ROLE
LEGGWORK are recruiting a Skilled Labourer for a construction project in Newbury, Berkshire.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working on construction sites and be confident carrying out a range of skilled labouring and general construction duties. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong practical background looking for ongoing work.
Working Hours: 8-9 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Overtime: Opportunities for overtime will become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll be expected to:

• Carry out general and skilled labouring duties
• Assist trades and site management as required
• Carry out basic construction, repair and maintenance tasks
• Move and handle materials safely
• Assist with deliveries and unloading
• Keep the site clean, safe and organised
• Support other trades across the project
• Follow all site health and safety procedures

REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Previous experience as a Skilled Labourer
• Good general construction knowledge
• Competent with basic tools and construction tasks
• CSCS Card
• Full PPE
• Good work ethic and reliable approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong understanding of site health and safety
